The Erode-Sambalpur-Erode through Salem and Jolarpettai train services will change as described below due to engineering work required to commission the double line between Sambalpur and Sambalpur City.
Train No.08312 Erode-Sambalpur Weekly Special Train, which was supposed to depart Erode at 1.45 p.m. on August 18 and arrive in Sambalpur at 9.15 p.m. the following day, will be short-terminated at Bargarh Road, according to a release from Salem Railway Division. From Bargarh Road to Sambalpur, it won’t run.
Both the Sambalpur-Erode weekly special train (number 08311) and the Erode-Sambalpur weekly special train (number 08312), scheduled to depart Sambalpur at 10.55 a.m. on August 23 and arrive in Erode at 7.50 p.m. the following day, will be completely canceled, according to the press release.
