A TA (Traveling Allowance) is the amount that is paid by the Department to the Employee while he is on a business trip along with other expenses and it is fixed.
A DA (Dearness Allowance) is the living expense allowance and not fixed and is paid by the Government and it is the percentage of the basic pay and the scale pay of the employee.
An HRA (House Rent Allowance) is only given to the employee when he is on a rental property according to the income Tax.
List of Big Cities/Stations for TA/DA and HRA allowance:
I am here to provide a list of all the big cities and stations in different provinces of Pakistan that provide TA/DA and HRA to the Government employees.
The Officers that are working in the Federal Government get the House Rent Allowance as 45% of their basic pay which is equal to the amount at the time of their joining of 2018 and a 50% additional HRA in the year 2017. Although, as compared from the big cities the small cities/stations the Officers working in the Federal Government gets 30% of their basic pay with an additional 50% in the year 2017.

The Federal Government announced that from July 1st 2017 the Rawalkot and the Mirpur Khas will be considered as the big cities.
All the cities except the cities mentioned above are considered as the small cities.
