Punjab Govt Eid-ul-Azha Public Holidays 2023 Notifications

On 23-06-2023, a Notification was published by the Government of the Punjab, Services, and General Administration Department regarding the Punjab Govt Eid-ul-Azha Public Holidays 2023. From the 28th to the 30th of June and the 1st of July, 2023, all employees and workers in Punjab would be granted Eid holidays.

This Cabinet Committee previously announced the 2023 Eid ul-Azha holiday schedule for federal employees. From the 28th of June through the first of July, 2023, all employees will be on vacation.

Public Holidays for Offices with 05 and 06- Working Days in a Week

The Services and General Administration Department of the Government of Punjab has sent out a letter announcing a vacation in honor of Eid-ul-Azha, 2023. This letter was sent to all relevant institutions to guarantee compliance with the aforementioned directive.

Public Holidays or the Office is Working 06-Days in A Week

To commemorate this holy holiday, the government of Punjab issued a letter giving all offices that normally operate on a five-day week an additional three days off. Starting on June 28th, 29th, and 30th, 2023, there will be three consecutive days of vacation.

The offices will be closed throughout the holidays. Officers will not take it upon themselves to carry out official duties.

On July 1, 2023, businesses used to operate five days a week will once again open for business.

In honor of this special occasion, all businesses that operate on a six-day week schedule will be given four days off. The vacation will begin on June 28, 2023, and end on July 1, 2023. On Monday, July 3, 2023, the offices will reopen.
