On Saturday evening, Federal Interior Minister Rana Sana Ullah Khan laid the cornerstone for the construction of a railway phattak close to Chak No. 190-RB Karari on Jhumra-Faisalabad Road.
Speaking to reporters after officially starting construction, the minister explained that during the Railway Phattak’s stone-breaking ceremony, he had meant to address a crowd of people and hear about their difficulties, but the rain and windstorm prevented him from doing so.
“I canceled the public meeting because of the inclement weather. However, I chose to lay the cornerstone for Railway Phattak so that this project could be finished on schedule, he continued.
According to him, the completion of the Karari Railway Phattak project will satisfy a long-standing demand of the locals within the next 15 to 20 days. He declared that this facility would cost Rs. 35 million, and that it would be built quickly.
He declared that the administration was determined to offer the people all essential services right at their doorsteps. Therefore, in 15 to 20 days when I launch the Karari Railway Phattak, I would address the public meeting, he continued.
At the event, former MPA Zafar Iqbal Nagra and other prominent locals praised the federal minister of the interior for the start of work on Railway Phattak.
