UET Merit Calculation Formula
The merit of bachelor programs is determined through a comprehensive process. The aggregation of percent marks scored at previous academic levels (FSc Matric, O-Level, Matric A-Level, etc.) form the basis of merit. The following percentages are considered:
- 45%: Intermediate Part I (or equivalent) marks
- 25%: Matric (or equivalent) marks
- 30%: ECAT marks
Keep in mind that UET may revert to the previous criteria, comprising 70% for Intermediate (or equivalent) marks and 30% for ECAT marks.
UET Taxila Admissions 2024
With the help of students, UET Taxila will announce the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th merit lists for undergraduate programs in Spring/Fall. Once the 1st merit list is out, admitted candidates are urged to settle their dues promptly. Failure to do so may result in forfeiting seats to the next applicant on the merit list.
