According to Pakistan Railways (PR), three special trains will operate on Eidul Azha. The first train will leave Quetta for Peshawar at 10 am on June 26, according to ARY News.
On July 26 at 8:30 p.m., the second special train will run from Karachi to Lahore via Multan. On June 27 at 11:00 am, the third train would leave Lahore for Karachi, traveling through Multan.
Prior to the Eidul Azha holidays, the railway officials announced that advance booking for the special trains had begun. The special Eid trains would have air conditioning and first-class bogies.
For domestic flights over the Eidul Adha holidays, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) earlier in the day announced a 10% fare reduction.
Domestic flights in all classes are eligible for the discount.
“To celebrate Eidul Adha 2023, PIA offers a special 10% flat discount on travel on the domestic sector during the Eid Days, i.e., June 30 to July 1,” the government-run airline announced.
After giving the airplane particular instructions, aviation minister Khawaja Saad Rafique announced the Eid bundle.
The federal government declared a holiday for Eidul Adha in 2023.
The Cabinet Division announced that the Eidul Adha vacations would be celebrated from Thursday, June 29, to Saturday, July 1.
