The National Economic Council (NEC) has received a report from the Ministry of Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives regarding funding for various road projects in the upcoming fiscal year (FY 2023–24), according to an official document made available to ProPakistani.
The agency has recommended a budget for roughly 35 railway projects, both new and ongoing, according to the specifics. The document contains the information listed below:
For all Pakistan Railways (PR) projects, a total budget of around Rs. 2108 billion has been approved.
For these projects, there has been around Rs. 870 billion in foreign aid.
About Rs. 33 billion has been recommended for allocation in FY 2023–24.

Construction, restoration, and feasibility studies of various tracks are all included in the PR projects. The government will also upgrade its fleet as necessary, replacing older bogies as necessary. The development initiatives are intended to benefit both the general populace and corporations.
