Pakistan Railways dispatches fifth batch for flood victims

According to information, the Lahore branch of Pakistan Railways has sent its fifth round of relief supplies to flood victims on Wednesday.

Pakistan Railways Director General (DS) Muhammad Hanif Gul said 150 food parcels were sent to Rohri via Khyber Mail Express.

He said bottled water, dry food, packets of powdered milk, biscuits, grams and legumes, sugar, matches, rice packets, ghee and other supplies were sent as relief supplies.

He said Pakistan Railways would not abandon its flood-affected brothers and that philanthropists should generously help flood victims. He further said that the relief supplies will be deposited in our collection center and the railway will send them to the flood-affected areas free of charge and on time.
