The 2023 federal government employee advancement notification has finally been accepted by the prime minister of Pakistan. Post-title and scale upgrades are available to all government employees in the BPS-01 to BPS-16 range. Both technical and non-technical Pakistani employees are qualified for the upgrade. A summary of the staff upgrades has been given to the Prime Minister of Pakistan for his approval. The summary has apparently been approved by the prime minister, Shahbaz Sharif, and an upgrade notification will be delivered shortly.
The upgrade will be carried out in the same manner as KPK’s upgrade. Congratulations to all government employees who will benefit from the one- or two-scale boost.

The undersigned is required to certify that the grant of an extraordinary dispensation for Federal Government Civil Servants (BPS-1 to BPS-15) in line with the following pattern has been approved by the Prime Minister.
- The incumbents in BPS-01 to BPS-05 will receive two higher pay categories as a one-time dispensation if they have not yet taken advantage of the time scale under the Time Scale Policy-2022. However, their actual pay scales won’t change.
- Current BPS-01 through BPS-05 employees who have employed time scales under the Time Scale Policy-2022 will receive a one-time dispensation for a higher pay scale. However, their actual pay scales won’t change.
- The incumbents in BPS-06 to BPS-15 will receive the next higher scale as a one-time dispensation if they have not yet utilized the time scale under the Time Scale Policy-2022. However, their actual pay scales won’t change.
- The incumbents in BPS-06 to BPS-15 who have previously benefited from the time scale in accordance with the Time Scale Policy-2022 will only receive one more increment of their present pay scale.
- The BPS-16 workforce will be given a one-time concession for one extra increment.
- The roles of Lower Division Clerk and Upper Division Clerk will both be promoted from BPS-09 to BPS-11 and BPS-11 to BPS-13, respectively, in addition to the incumbents. According to the upgrade policy, the Establishment Division will alter the Recruitment Rules.
