While serving as the meeting’s chair on Saturday, Federal Minister for Railways and Aviation Khawaja Saad Rafique commended the government for lowering the travel time between the two stations in a short amount of time.
The minister ordered the Pak Business Express train’s carriages to be upgraded till June 1 after reviewing the Bahauddin Zekriya Express train’s makeup and amenities. He asked for a feasibility study on outsourcing the washing-lines and gave the administration instructions to provide suggestions for enhancing the effectiveness of the washing-lines.
The minister further ordered that the dining cars’ food quality be improved. He instructed the PR administration to get in touch with the provincial departments to urgently retrieve any debts owed to them. In order to profit from the arc furnace, he also looked for a business plan.
During the conference, a committee was established to get in touch with manufacturers and industry professionals to get a road map for increasing the railroad’s revenue.
The PR also made the decision to file criminal charges against those who had illegally taken railway property.
