Thick fog is causing a lot of problems for trains in different parts of the country. This is leading to delays and disruptions in important train services.
According to the latest information from Pakistan Railways on Sunday, many trains were late, causing trouble for passengers. For example, the Khyber Mail train (1-Up) was 4 hours late, the Greenline (5-Up) was 1 hour late, and the Tezgam (7-Up) was delayed by 2 hours and 15 minutes.
Similarly, other trains like the Allama Iqbal Express (9-Up), Hazara Express (11-Up), Awam Express (13-Up), Karachi Express (15-Up), Millat Express (17-Up), and Bahauddin Zakariya Express (25-Up) were also delayed by different amounts of time.
The Pak Business Express (33-Up) was 5 hours and 30 minutes late, Fareed Express (37-Up) was 2 hours late, Karakoram Express (41-Up) was delayed by 4 hours and 45 minutes, Pakistan Express (45-Up) was 4 hours late, Rehman Baba Express (47-Up) was delayed by 4 hours and 45 minutes, and Sukkur Express (145-Up) was running 5 hours and 30 minutes behind schedule.
Similarly, trains going in the opposite direction, like the Khyber Mail (2-Down), Greenline (6-Dn), Tezgam (8-Dn), Allama Iqbal Express (10-Dn), Hazara Express (12-Dn), Awam Express (14-Dn), Karachi Express (16-Dn), and Millat Express (18-Dn), were also delayed.
Other trains like Bahauddin Zakariya Express (26-Dn), Shalimar Express (28-Dn), Pak Business Express (34-Dn), and Fareed Express (38-Dn) faced delays as well. The Karakoram Express (42-Dn) was delayed by 6 hours, and the Rehman Baba Express (48-Dn) was 5 hours late.

The authorities at Pakistan Railways understand the challenges and promise to fix things. However, they say trains can only run on time when the weather gets better. They advise passengers to keep up with the latest updates and plan their travels accordingly.
