On July 11, 2023, the Finance Department of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa released a Notification regarding the Revised Special Secretariat Performance Allowance 2023 KP 50% to 100%. The specifics are as follows:
The KPK government adjusts the prices of numerous allowances in accordance with the monthly increase in pay. The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa government sets new rates with some increases in certain allowances following the presentation of the budget for 2023–2024.
The finance department’s regulatory wing notifies the relevant authorities of notifications that are issued on the direction of the Government of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. The Special Secretariat Performance Allowance will be increased or revised from 50% to 100% of base salary each month as the topic of the notification. All those officers are KPK Civil Provincial Secretariat employees. They already receive 50% of the aforementioned allowance.
100% Enhancement in SSPA
On November 27, 2019, the KPK government made certain changes to the earlier notification concerns. The government updates the special secretaries’ performance allowance rate after making various changes. It raises the percentage of this allowance for all employees from 50% to 100%.
