In order to better serve rail customers, Pakistan Railways has decided to resume running the Greenline Express train between Islamabad and Karachi beginning on January 27. Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif will soon launch the train operation, according to PR sources on Saturday.
There will be stops along the way at Rawalpindi, Chaklala, Lahore, Khanewal, Bahawalpur, Rohri, Hyderabad, and Drig Road. On the way back, there won’t be a stop at Drig Road.
The AC Business, AC Parlour, AC Standard, and Economy Class vehicles will make up the train’s rack.
The train will be equipped with high-class amenities like high-class breakfast, lunch, and supper, hi-tea, five-star bedding, clean drinking water, infotainment screens in AC coaches, pre-arrival announcement, WiFi utility kit, and special restrooms for special passengers.
Additionally, the train would allocate separate berths for female passengers in AC and Economy Class cars. The train has begun to be booked and reserved.
