The Institute of Business Administration in Karachi is the best university in Pakistan for management sciences and related degrees. The National Talent Hunt Program (NTHP), which awards scholarships, is supported by IBA Karachi and the Ihsan Trust together. For admission to the BBA and BS degree programs at the IBA, candidates are recruited from all around Pakistan. The IBA National Talent Hunt Program is open to students from all around Pakistan.
Before March 5, 2023, applicants can submit their applications for the IBA National Talent Hunt program. On March 26, 2023, the assessment test will happen. Students who completed their matriculation exams in 2021 with at least a 70% grade point average and who also took the HSSC-I (first year) examinations in 2022 or the Inter exams in 2022 are eligible for the IBA Talent Hunt program.
The orientation training will be led by chosen IBA academics, mentors, and other trainers who have proven their expertise in their respective fields.
Following orientation training, all trainees will be required to take the IBA aptitude test for BBA/BS degree programs.
According to the student’s need for the aforementioned 4-year degree programs, the Qarz-e-Hasna scholarship or other arrangements against tuition fees and other expenses may cover up to 100% of the BBA, BS (Accounting & Finance), BS (Social Sciences & Liberal Arts), BS (Computer Sciences), BS (Economics & Mathematics), and BS (Economics) degree programs. The IBA-IT NTHP does not cover the summer semester.
IBA-IT NTHP program participants must maintain a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 2.5 or above to continue using their facilities. If their grades fall below this threshold, they will be placed on probation in the event that they are given another chance to raise their marks in the upcoming semester. The offered amenities could be withheld or revoked if they don’t raise their grades, depending on the circumstances.
Eligibility Criteria
Students that scored 70% or above on their Matric or HSSC-I exams given by the Pakistani Board of Intermediate Education in 20202, 2021, or 2023 and will be sitting the HSSC Level-II exams.
How To Apply?
- Incomplete online applications must be downloaded and mailed by March 5, 2023, to the “Director, the IBA National Talent Hunt Program, IBA Main Campus, University Road, Karachi.”
- Selected students will be contacted and invited to IBA Karachi to participate in a two-month training program in order to get ready for admission to BBA and BS degree programs.
- As part of the orientation training program, chosen students will get free instruction, boarding and lodging, a stipend, and study materials.
