The Government of Punjab Finance Department issued a notification on September 21, 2022, related to the Punjab Rescue 1122 Risk Allowance 2022 and it is equal to the basic pay of an employee.
The workers of the Punjab Emergency Service Department can also facilitated with this allowance from the 9th of September 2023.
Punjab Rescue 1122 Risk Allowance:
The committee in charge of making decisions for the government has given the green light for the introduction of a special payment. The Punjab government is happy to share the news that the risk allowance, starting from September 9, 2022, will now be the same amount as the initial monthly salary of each employee in the Punjab Emergency Service Department’s Rescue Staff.
Risk Allowance Rescue 1122 Conditions:
The given Allowance will not be permissible to the given Officers.
- Officials/Officers that are under prorogation.
- The Officers/Officials of the Departments having OSDs.
- Those who have to give a report to the Punjab Emergency Service Department on the disorganization/ misconduct charges.
- If the Officials/Officers are on leave for more than 90 days on study leave or going to take training in a foreign country.
- Those who are not the employees of the Punjab Emergency Service Department.
- The Officials/Officers who are taking the pension cannot facilitate this allowance.

Conditions Descriptions:
- According to the conditions that are mentioned above the employees that are on leave above than 90 days will not benefit from this allowance.
- The Officials that are going to take the training to foreign countries for more than 90 days will not benefit from this employee for the Rescue 1122 of 2022.
- The Official currently who are not working in PESD, will not benefit from this allowance.
- At the time of retirement, the Rescue Allowance 1122 will not be counted in the pension.
- The suspended Department Employees will not benefit from this allowance.
